1. Quality Policy

The Management of “OMEK Consulting Engineers S.A.” establishes and implements a dedicated Quality Policy, which is acknowledged as an integral element of the company’s overall operational and strategic structure. This Policy is systematically implemented and rigorously maintained across all levels and functions of the organizational structure.

It constitutes a fundamental principle and binding commitment of the company—and, by direct extension, of every member of its personnel—to consistently deliver services in the fields of Project Management, Design Review, and the Management, Administration, and Supervision of Technical Construction Works, which are both fully capable of meeting the expressly defined contractual requirements of its Clients and all Interested Parties, and fully compliant with the prevailing legal and regulatory provisions applicable.

The implementation of the aforementioned policy is achieved through the execution of a series of targeted actions, which constitute a primary concern of General Management and are focused on the following areas:

• Adoption and effective implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ELOT EN ISO 9001:2015, applicable across all company operations and influencing every aspect of the services quality and as result the Client satisfaction.
• Periodic review and continuous improvement of the effectiveness and performance of the implemented Quality Management System (QMS). 
• Periodic evaluation and optimization of the QMS’s effectiveness and performance.
• Definition of measurable Quality Objectives and Business Goals, established in advance and subject to periodic assessment of progress and achievement.
• Comprehensive training of personnel across all levels of management, regarding the implemented Quality Policy, the defined Quality Objectives, and the Company’s Business Goals. Any forthcoming amendments are promptly communicated and once properly understood, are implemented accordingly.
• Provision of all necessary resources to ensure the efficient and effective operation of each department.
• Continuous training, development, and education of the company’s personnel.
• Assurance of consistent service delivery in full compliance with client requirements, while also fulfilling all relevant safety, hygiene, and environmental protection standards.
• Full compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements governing the company’s scope of activities.
• Establishment of effective communication channels both between and within departments, ensuring the uniform dissemination of the Quality Policy and the seamless operation of business processes.
• Ongoing selection and evaluation of suppliers based on technical and financial criteria.
• Systematic measurement of stakeholder satisfaction, through analysis and evaluation of client complaints.
• Adoption of the principle of continual improvement as a core operational philosophy.
• Recognition and reward of teamwork and individual effort, reflecting the company’s respect for employee dedication and contribution.

In light of the foregoing, the General Management of OMEK Consulting Engineers S.A. hereby enacts this Quality Manual as an official and binding document, within the framework of its firm commitment to the implementation of the aforementioned Quality Policy.

2. Environmental Policy

The General Management of OMEK Consulting Engineers S.A., recognizing that the principles of sustainable development constitute a fundamental prerequisite for sound and responsible entrepreneurship, integrates environmental criteria into its business processes and develops strategies aimed at the continuous improvement of its environmental performance, the reduction of its ecological footprint, the promotion of green entrepreneurship, the management of environmental and climate-related risks, and the protection of biodiversity — thereby contributing to the resolution of major global environmental and societal challenges.

In line with its commitment to the continuous reduction of the environmental impacts arising from its operations and the strict adherence to all applicable environmental legislation and regulatory requirements, OMEK Consulting Engineers S.A. actively monitors and measures its environmental performance, establishes improvement targets, implements and evaluates environmental management actions. These include initiatives such as energy and water conservation programs, waste management and recycling schemes, reduction of transport-related emissions, and the promotion of sustainable procurement practices.

All such actions are governed and supported by the implementation of an Environmental Management System compliant with the requirements of ELOT EN ISO 14001:2015.

To ensure the effective implementation of its Environmental Policy, and in the belief that individual and corporate social responsibility constitute the foundation of a sustainable society, OMEK Consulting Engineers S.A. is committed to and actively promotes the following:

3. Corporate Information Security Policy

OMEK Consulting Engineers S.A. conducts all its activities in a manner that effectively and securely meets the needs and expectations of its clients. The company operates in full compliance with applicable standards, legislation, regulations, and implementation guidelines, and is fully committed to their consistent observance throughout all operational domains. The core areas of OMEK activity include:

• Project Management and Control
• Management, Administration, and Supervision of Technical Construction Works

This policy is fully aligned with the Business Strategy and operational requirements of the Company.

Information Security is defined as the preservation of the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability of information.

The physical security of facilities, personnel, documents, software, and sensitive materials is ensured by the company through formally established policies and procedures.

Department Heads are responsible for ensuring that all personnel are adequately trained to use the company’s assets securely and efficiently in the performance of their duties.

Risk assessment is an ongoing process that considers the contribution of each component to the company’s mission, identifies vulnerabilities, potential threats, and impacts from possible breaches, determines single points of failure, and applies appropriate methods for risk quantification and mitigation through the implementation of suitable protection measures.

Specifications for the procurement of new systems or the expansion of already existing include defined security requirements, appropriate to the function the system is intended to perform.

Access to the company’s network infrastructure and all connected devices is strictly controlled. The network is protected against known and unknown malware. Security signature files are updated frequently and automatically. The system safeguards not only workstation computers but also remote access devices. A centrally managed firewall protects the internal network from internet-borne threats. The company maintains a fully documented and up-to-date Business Continuity Plan and ensures its readiness for activation when needed.

Finally, OMEK Consulting Engineers S.A. is committed to the continuous improvement of its Information Security Management System, in accordance with ISO 27001:2022, and to the achievement of its defined Information Security Objectives through the framework of this policy and the individual policies and procedures that support its implementation.
