Supplementary Works for Flood Protection

Following the Ministerial Decision Prot. No ΕΥΔΕ/ΚΣΕΣΠ/Γ/Φ1.1/212572/03-08-2021, with which the previous MD Prot. No ΕΥΔΕ/ΚΣΕΣΠ/Γ/Φ1/οικ.7226/04-10-2018 was modified in relation to the design approvals and the supervision of Supplementary Works of DC Period T2 which are executed by the Independent Engineer in accordance with art. 18.6.7 of the Concession Agreement, the State Service with letter Prot. No ΕΥΔΕ/ΚΣΕΣΠ/Γ/Φ4/265224 of 30/09/2021 forwarded to the IE the Flood Protection Designs of areas Adjacent to the Motorway at Section Lamia – Xyniada and specifically the Sperchios River Basin from Lianokladi Settlement up to the old National Road at Lamia Area (E65 Ch. 0+000 – Ch. 24+500). These Designs were submitted in the past by the Concessionaire and the Constructor.

The State Service with letter Prot. No. ΕΥΔΕ/ΚΣΕΣΠ/Γ/Φ4/277709 of 08-09-2022 notified the Agreement signed between the State and the Concessionaire dated 05/09/2022, regarding the urgent Antiflood Protection of areas adjacent to the Central Greece Motorway – section of Xyniada – Anavra (motorway Ch. 32+000 – Ch. 61+000) and Spercheios River Basin (motorway Ch. 0+000 – Ch. 24+500).

The State Service with letter Prot. No. ΕΥΔΕ/ΚΣΕΣΠ/Γ/Φ2/312941 of 07/10/2022, requested the preparation of design for the sediment retention basin of stream Xiria, Lamia, Fthiotida Prefecture in accordance with article 6.7.2.(ii)a) of the Concession Agreement in order to be included in the above mentioned Agreement. The above was forwarded to the CJV by the Concessionaire with letter Prot. No. CC.Z.CC.23241 of 27/10/2022.
