Bridge engineer with over 30 years’ working experience involved in large-scale infrastructure projects across Greece and Balkanson. He has held Senior Management positions in international projects in the fields of Design constructability Review, Co-ordination and Approvals; Construction Supervision and Monitoring; Project Management and Financial Control; Quantity recording, Client and Contractor Liaison; Contract Administration; Management of Sub-Consultants etc.
Description
His experience includes wide knowledge of international standards, preparation of technical specifications and tender documents, technical assistance and detailed design during construction. Such examples are:
- Deputy Resident Engineer of the Independent Engineer at the Supervision of Construction Works of Corridor X – E75 Motorway – Roads, Bridges and Interchanges from Grdelica to Vladicin Han, Republic of Serbia, for the J/V Louis Berger SAS, France, Egnatia Odos S.A. (2016 to 2022).
- Principal Bridge Engineer at the Construction of New Motorway section Demir Kapja – Smokvica, part of the Pan-European CORRIDOR X. Republic of Macedonia for Aktor S.A. (2013 to 2016).
- Principal Bridge Engineer at the Construction of the New Motorway of Segment No3 in Tirana – Elbasan Road for the J/V Corpi Construction Enterprises W.L.L – Aktor Technical S.A (2012 to 2013).
- Senior Bridge Engineer at the Construction of Ionia Odos Motorway from Antirio to Ioannina: section S2-S3 for Terna S.A. (2008 to 2012).
- Deputy Resident Engineer for Bridges, Senior Structural Engineer, Principal Bridge Engineer – of the Independent Engineer at the Supervision of Construction Works of Egnatia Odos Highway Project for the J/V OMEK S.A. – THALES Engineering and Consulting S.A. – LAHMEYER GMBH Consultant Engineering (1997 to 2004 and 2004 to 2008).
Since 2022, he has been part of the J/V OMEK S.A.- AECOM LTD Independent Engineer for overseeing the Hydro Pump Storage Project of Amfilochia on behalf of the Project Owner, focusing on construction progress, progress of construction design studies, land acquisition and quality, health and safety matters.
