Theodoros is the Project Manager of the Independent Engineer (OMEK-AECOM JV) at Egnatia Odos Concession Project for the Imminent and Heavy Maintenance Works.
Education
Theodoros holds an MSc in Project Management from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with a focus on infrastructure management and delivery strategies, an MSc in Structural Engineering from the University of Bradford (UK) and a BSc (Hons) in Civil & Structural Engineering, also from the University of Bradford.
Description
Theodoros is a senior engineering executive with over 30 years of international experience in the design, management, and delivery of major infrastructure projects. His career is distinguished by long-term, high-impact roles working directly for major Clients of multi-billion-euro highway and infrastructure programs, including Egnatia Odos S.A. (Greece) and Ashghal – Qatar’s Public Works Authority.
Throughout his career, Theodoros has held key technical and leadership roles on the strategic and infrastructure programs, including the €6.5 billion Egnatia Odos motorway in Greece and several multibillion-riyal expressway and urban development projects in Qatar such as the Bustan South Elevated Expressway. His expertise spans the full project lifecycle—from concept and detailed design to procurement, construction, and contract closeout. He combines deep technical knowledge with a client-focused approach, consistently ensuring that authority-client requirements, engineering standards, and delivery targets are met or exceeded. His expertise spans advanced bridge and infrastructure construction, contract management, and infrastructure lifecycle oversight.
He is a certified project manager-PMP® and licensed professional engineer with active memberships in international institutions, and a recognized contributor to industry best practices through technical publications and conference presentations. He is fluent in Greek and English and brings a strong commitment to engineering excellence, team leadership, innovation, continuous quality improvement, stakeholder engagement and continuous professional development.
